Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Felicia Joy built a successful career in corporate America as a public relations and communications executive, serving several industries including aviation, energy and social services. She created more than $50 million in value for the various organizations she worked for by applying her expertise, management and leadership skills with excellence. Seeing what she could achieve for other companies, Felicia Joy began to think more and more about what she could achieve at the helm of her own company if she were to pursue her lifelong dream of entrepreneurship.
Having broken through many barriers, Felicia Joy is known as a high achiever, over comer and servant-leader who continues to defy the odds. In her early twenties, she led the Youth Leadership Council, which successfully lobbied the Georgia legislature to pass the Foster Child Education Grant, which enables children who grow up in foster care to receive grants and attend college without the burden of debt.
At 26, she became the youngest chief spokesperson ever for the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and has been recognized locally and nationally for her advanced leadership skills.
Felicia Joy directed corporate communications at a major Fortune 500 company, earning a healthy six-figure salary before deciding to leave “comfort” behind, and risk it all, to pursue her greater purpose of becoming a world-class entrepreneur—investing in herself and others.
A native Georgian (USA), Felicia is a “peach” who exudes trademark Southern hospitality along with a hearty laugh and sunny smile. She lives in Atlanta and enjoys dancing, writing, politics, extreme sports, comedy, fun with friends and family, acting, reading, meditation, volunteering and exploring the adventures of life—especially entrepreneurship.
